Jack

History & Politics

Hello! I’m Jack. I live in St Asaph, North Wales with my partner, Melissa and our dog, Ralph. I am 25 years old. I have been a qualified teacher for four years now. I love my job and love to teach children and help fulfil their potential. I am a very active person, I enjoy sport, mainly cricket and golf. However, I love to get outside and discover new people and places.

Overview

I work in Denbigh, in a junior school called Ysgol Frongoch, where I teach a year 5 class, currently. I am the lead on ICT within the school and I am part of the Vale of Clwyd School Sports group. I particularly enjoy teaching Maths, Humanities, Expressive Arts and Health & Well-Being. I currently plan for the cross-curricular implementation of Literacy and Digital Competency in year 5. I am interested in offering some extra tutoring as I feel that, having the opportunity to teach children in the upper juniors will help me develop my understanding of their transition into High School and a chance to work with children who may have additional learning needs (ALN) and those who would be considered more able and talented (MAT).
