Teaching Overview
In a world that is challenging, complex and changing, the task of a Humanities teacher is to explain the evolution of the present through the lens of the past and to cultivate the key skills of critical analysis, empathy, interpretation, questioning, and reflection. In a society increasingly defined by its relationship to rapidly advancing technologies, education and pedagogical approaches must necessarily advance in order to adapt to the new opportunities available to educators as our technologies continues to evolve.
